Principal dancers are the only teachers; levels are from pre-ballet (45 minute Saturday class geared for preschool attention span) through pre-professional over 16 hours per week technique, point, contemporary, fall and spring performance; there is also a two+ hour adult class 5 mornings a week where professional dancers also come to hone their skills.

Participation was optional and the teachers gives individual dancers exercises to do whether or not they participate in the strength and conditioning classes to insure that every dancer has the strength and conditioning necessary to dance superbly.

Describe Recovery Plan:

My daughter was experiencing pain in her knee and she was given specific exercises to engage the muscles that were weak so that the pain went away. There was no documented injury and I appreciate that both teachers are completely on top of the physiology involved so that injury does not result from dancing incorrectly

When my daughter started competing I appreciated that at the mandatory annual meeting the directors emphasized that a positive attitude, good mental health, and good academic grades were more important than the competitions and that by competing we agreed to them keeping an eye on these three factors and to pulling the dancers from the competition if the directors felt it was negatively impacting them in any of these areas even if it was a week before the competition and the fees were non refundable; they so care about their dancers overall well being. We feel very supported.
